Building a Food Studies Center at Met College
Establishing a Food Studies Center at Met College, driven by the merging of Food and Wine courses with Gastronomy programs, aims to integrate hands-on and academic approaches to food studies. Drawing inspiration from existing models like the Culinaria Research Centre and the Center for Regional Agriculture, Food, and Transformation, the initiative seeks to pool resources, enhance scholarship, and foster engaging programming in the field of food studies. Visiting the Culinaria Centre for insights and connections, the journey towards developing the Center for Food Studies at BU is set to enrich the landscape of culinary education and research.
