Bringing Life Through Organ Donation: Two-Week Action Plan
Over the next two weeks, the Gift of Life aims to refocus on connecting with palliative care teams, educate ICU staff on the importance of early referrals, raise awareness in the Caribbean community about organ donation, coordinate information sessions with OPO liaisons, and encourage colleagues to register as donors. The plan also involves meeting with the CMO to advocate for organ donation, incorporating palliative care into donation conversations, and sharing best practices with donor hospitals in Buffalo.

I am the Gift of Life and over the next two weeks this is the action I am going to take to bring life to others: I will develop a culture of care, educate over ICU staff, the importance of early referrals. I will also raise awareness in our Caribbean community the gift of giving and encourage them to be registered donors. Region 9 Collaborative Commitments

I am the Gift of Life and over the next two weeks this is the action I am going to take to bring life to others: I will follow up with the wonderful people I met today and continue to find ways to get involved and add value to other families facing the loss of a loved one and the organ donor community in general.
