Always check with students teacher first ELP (Enhanced Learning Program) available from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in Building 4 room 101- THIS IS AVAILABLE FOR ON LINE STUDENTS AS WELL!!! REPORT DIRECTLY TO 4-101. Credit Recovery Program built into student s schedule, available after school through ELP, or via Summer Bridge Program TUTORING AND CREDIT RECOVERY MyPCS students can also check with their teachers for virtual tutoring opportunities

  5. FUNDAMENTAL DRESS CODE REMINDER Due to COVID-19 and the wearing of face masks, we have temporarily adjusted our dress code. We will adhere to PCS s and BCHS s dress code; therefore, students may now wear shorts and sliders to school

ATHLETICS UPDATE Viewing PCS Athletic Contests from your home or mobile device: Boca Ciega High School (and the other 15 PCSB high schools) families and fans will now be able to watch high school sporting events from their homes or mobile devices. Football and volleyball games will be broadcast this fall. For unlimited access to live and on demand content from the NFHS Network, fans can visit NFHSnetwork.com, search for their desired school, and subscribe. There is a Monthly Pass for $10.99 a month which can be canceled at any time. There is also a $69.99-yearly pass that is billed for 12 months at $5.83 monthly. In addition to the NFHS Network subscription option, The Identity Tampa Bay will broadcast multiple games per week as part of this cutting-edge partnership. All games broadcasted onThe Identity Tampa Bay will be free to the viewer Visit our web page for days and times of games Tickets are available for 20% capacity go to Boca Ciega s home page and order through GoFan.com

  10. SENIORS Senior Week 4/26 4/30 Grad Night is 5/7 cost is $90. Pinellas County seniors are going to Busch Gardens! Seniors must have a permission form completed to purchase tickets from Ms. Marnell beginning 4/5 after school On Thursday 4/29 we will celebrate seniors post- graduation plans with a Let Them Eat Cake party at 10:20 right after exams The senior calendar can be found on the BCHS website Graduation 6/2 7:30 am Tropicana Field

  11. STUDENTS REQUESTS FOR 2021-22 All returning sophomores, juniors, and seniors should have completed course requests with Ms. Woods at this point.They can see their request in FOCUS. Please contact Ms. Woods or Ms. Van Dora for any changes

  12. ADD AVID IN YOUR SCHEDULE FOR NEXT YEAR !! AVID is an elective class that is designed to provide you with support for advanced college credit courses AVID is available for all four years We are a nationally board certified school, so we do AVID the best !!! AVID will help you get organized, will teach you how to make meaningful notes, will help you with tutoring sessions, and assist in completing financial aid and college applications

  13. DUAL ENROLLMENT OPPORTUNITIES EARN COLLEGE CREDIT AT SPC 2021-22 Seniors who are eligible may take two classes over the summer at SPC at no cost! Summer Classes Schedule Available 3/8 Classes Begin 5/17 Fall Classes Schedule Available 4/5 Classes Begin 8/16 2021-22 Juniors who are eligible may take one class over the summer at SPC at no cost! R E SO U RC E S BCHS families who need assistance or support for their learning option (brick and mortar here at school vs. My PCS Online) are welcome to email Ms. Kelly Parker at parkerke@pcsb.org My PCS Online students: If you need assistance with your connectivity or electronic device, please email either Ms. Turner at turnerri@pcsb.org or Ms. Parras at parrase@pcsb.org My PCS Online student meals distribution: Our My PCS online students or parents can come to school weekly on Fridays between 9am and 10am to pick up 10 prepared meals (five breakfasts and five lunches). These meals are available from our cafeteria and can be assessed through our bus loop (enter from 11th Avenue South)
