  1. Asia & ASEAN High School Students SDGs workshop

  2. Who can attend the meeting Asia & ASEAN high school students who are willing to discuss an ecological topic that is an urgent issue at the time, and try to get ideas of SDGs solution to collaborate with overseas students.

  3. How to conduct the SDGs workshop We will conduct the Workshop by using Miro white board function software Participants: High School students (Approx. 80) Facilitators : Graduate students from different fields.(Approx. 20-25)

  4. Schedule of the session (I) Two days program First session: guidance, introduction, and team making 1 Participants are separate to small teams which composed of students from different countries. Two graduate students will participate in each group as facilitators. They will be paired with from different fields, such as Science and Education. Facilitators and attendances will greeting each other and then introduce each other. They will start SDGs discussion. Each team discuss about their local problems related to SDGs, and then decide the theme of the team project. 2 3 4 We will take one week preparation period for the second session. After finishing the first session, we will give them a worksheet which will support their study and the second session's activity. Students will learn about the theme such as the purification of community pond using worksheet and fill it up. Then student will send the work sheet to us. We will gather those and send it back to each team for sharing the knowledge.

  5. Schedule of the session (II) The second session (one week after the first session): discussion and presentation Students join the online room and work with each team. They will discuss SDGs topics prepared by each student according to the subject chosen at the first session using a worksheet prepared by the participants. Using the Miro online whiteboard, students discuss the topics and make a story of solving the problem. After finish the discussion, the student team will prepare a short presentation of their conclusion of the SDGs solution by using the Power Point. Students will come into the presentation room and present their conclusion.

  6. Workshop Participants total 80(approx.) Facilitators total 20 to 25 8 high school students+2 facilitators(graduate students.) per team DAY1(Miro) First session: guidance, introduction, and team making Team A Team B Team C Team D Team E Team F Team G Team E Team F Team J 1 week study period Participants study the topic they will discuss on DAY2 DAY2(Miro) The second session (one week after the first session): discussion DAY2 (Zoom) Team A Team B Team C Team D Team E Team F Team G Team E Team F Team J Presentation DAY2(Zoom) wrap up DAY1 Guidance, 5 minutes, introduction 10 minutes, Team making (ice breaking ) discuss the problems related to SDGs, and then decide the theme of the team project. 60~ minutes DAY2 Discuss their topic 60 minutes~ Presentation 5minutes + Q&A 5minutes for 10 teams (approx. 120 minutes)
