The end of the Seal Judgments leads right into the Trumpet Judgments
Trumpets in OT: 1. Gathered His people 2. Announced War 3. Announced Special Occasions
The Trumpets in Revelation concludes the first half of the Tribulation and opens the Bowls of God s Wrath
First: 1/3 Vegetation burned Second: 1/3 of Sea to blood Third: 1/3 of Fresh Water contaminated Fourth: 1/3 Sun, Moon, Stars darkened
Fifth: Locusts torment Sixth: Army of 200 Million; 1/3 mankind killed Seventh: Kingdom Proclaimed; Bowls of God s Wrath Introduced
This ends the midpoint of the Tribulation, First 3 1/2 years Many believe by this point the rapture has occurred
Most concerning element of Revelation 9 are verses 20-21: rest of mankind did not repent

Two Witnesses Who are they? Perhaps Moses and Elijah, who also appeared at Jesus Transfiguration
Two Witnesses After their specified period of time the beast , the Antichrist, will make war against them and kill them
Two Witnesses dead bodies are left in street of the great city for three 1/2 days
After 3 1/2 days breathe of God enters them, they stood up, and loud voice in heaven says, Come up here and they ascend in a cloud
As the two witnesses are resurrected, a great earthquake occurs; a tenth of the city falls; 7,000 die
Second woe (wave) is past; the third woe (wave= Bowls of God s Wrath) is coming quickly Revelation 11: 14
Testimony of Elders occurs with the sounding of the seventh trumpet; the Elders with loud voices are joined by the 24 Elders to acclaim praise! Revelation 11: 15 - 19
Revelation 11: 19 Allows us to glimpse the temple of God in heaven, along with the Ark of His Covenant; the powerful symbol of His Law and His Presence among His people
We are reminded that He is faithful and will keep His promises. We are also reminded He is a Holy God and will deal righteously with sin.
Prior to the third woe (wave) of God s Wrath, the stage is now set for the dramatic details of Lucifer, Beast (Antichrist), and the False Prophet
What Should Be Our Response?
The vision of the Ark would greatly encourage God s suffering people; the vision should give us all hope: He is in charge! He will reveal His glory! Trust Him!
