Annual Conference of ISOPARB Highlights
The Annual Conference of ISOPARB took place at India Habitat Centre in New Delhi, featuring pre-conference workshops, orations, panel discussions, paper presentations, and a quiz. The Annual Conference of ISOPARB was held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi on 7th 9thApril 2017. There were 4 Pre-conference Workshop also held on 7th April 2017. The workshop on Fetal Medicine held at India Habitat Centre. Contraception workshop held at Lady Harding Medical College, New Delhi
Neonatal Care Workshop held at Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. Adolescent Workshop held at India Habitat Centre. All the workshops were well attended with about 55-60 delegates in each workshop. The Annual Conference was well attended with about 250 delegates.
The highlights of the Annual Conference was three orations. Kamla Achari Oration was kindly delivered by Dr. Tanaka. Conference Oration was delivered by Dr. Ranjit Akolker. S.N Tripathi oration was delivered by Dr. I. Ganguli There was a gala inaugural function with dance performance by a different young doctors and their children.
There were 5 panel discussions: Screening of genital Malignancy-How much is too much Optimum Antenatal Testing Rising Caesarean rates & Repercussion Subfertility Management in developing countries Pregnancy at unusual sites: Including scar pregnancy, Cornual pregnancy, Cervical pregnancy, Ovarian pregnancy There were paper presentations and poster presentations during theAnnual Conference. The quiz was held and delegates from east zone, south zone as well as north zone participated.
The winning team was south zone and the names were Dr. Chandrika Gunturu, Dr. Surbhi Gupta from Fernandez Hospital. 1strunner up was east zone and the participants were Dr. Prashida Guhasarkar and Dr. Shreya Bhattacharya 2ndrunner up was north zone and the participants were Dr.Ankita Srivastava and Dr. Swati Thakur
