Content You have been directed to these mini video series as your annual coeliac review is due We recommend you watch the series of mini videos each year and also refer to the different sections during the year as and when you require this information This series contains five other videos which cover the following topics: - Weight Monitoring - Calcium and Vitamin D - Folic Acid, Vitamin B12 and Iron - Labelling and Cross Contamination - Prescriptions, Vaccinations and DEXA Scan Outstanding care for our patients in ways which matter to them 2
Symptoms in Coeliac Disease Varies greatly between individuals Some people have no obvious symptoms Symptoms can include: Bloating Diarrhoea Constipation Nausea Tiredness Unexpected weight loss Mouth ulcers Loss of balance Tingling in feet and hands Anaemia Low Vitamin B12 and Folate levels Skin rash (Dermatitis Herpetiformis) Fertility problems Neurological problems Outstanding care for our patients in ways which matter to them 3

Monitoring Coeliac Disease CDAT Questionnaire A self-assessment test If you score 18 or more you may benefit from further dietetic input Please return your completed CDAT if you score highly or have any concerns We will then send you an appointment to discuss your symptoms and advise further Outstanding care for our patients in ways which matter to them 5
