General comments and proposals Engineering profession is fully controlled and regulated in Greece. Classical diplomas like Civil or Mechanical Engineering are dominating. New specializations like Production Engineering have had difficulties to enter the market. From this experience, introducing a new Bachelor Degree, is a dangereous endeavor, at least for the professional adoption of graduates. For this reason, we propose to focus on the development of Master Degrees, of two or three semesters, with docused courses.
