CAREC Green Energy Alliance - Mechanism Summary
The CAREC Green Energy Alliance aims to bridge the gap in energy efficiency and renewable energy investments within the CAREC region by creating a new financing vehicle. With an investment gap of around $400 billion, the alliance seeks to support green energy projects, provide project preparation support, facilitate virtual matchmaking for investors, and establish a platform for knowledge exchange. Through a digital marketplace and a green energy panel, the alliance is set to drive sustainable energy initiatives in the region.
