Adaptive Social Protection (ASP) aims to empower impoverished households in managing risks posed by various shocks such as natural disasters, pandemics, and conflicts by implementing scalable and responsive social protection mechanisms. The ASP agenda is gaining traction globally and is supported by GFDRR in countries like the Philippines, Jamaica, Fiji, and others. There is a growing demand for operationalizing ASP in numerous countries, highlighting the need for effective strategies to address vulnerabilities and enhance resilience to various crises.
