  1. EVERYONE COUNTS SEN SESSION 3: Time Maths resources for learners with special educational needs

  2. What is Afeworks day like? The next few slides show some of the activities I do each day. The photographs are of other people in Ethiopia doing similar activities.

  3. 7:15am 07:15 At quarter past seven, I walk to school with my friend.

  4. 7:30am 07:30 Our morning classes start at half past seven.

  5. 12:30pm 12:30 At half past twelve I go home for lunch. The little girl in this photograph is learning to make injera. This is a type of flat bread which we eat a lot in Ethiopia.

  6. 1:30pm 13:30 After lunch I walk back to school. Our afternoon classes start at half past one.

  7. 3:15pm 15:15 School ends at quarter past three and I walk home. Here are some girls enjoying ice- pops on their way home.

  8. 4.00pm 16:00 At four o clock I go out to play with my friends. Here are two of my friends playing table football.

  9. 6:30pm 18:30 At half past six, I do my homework.

  10. 7:30pm 19:30 At half past seven I help with the housework. Here are some boys washing clothes in a back street near my home.

  11. 8:00pm 20:00 We eat dinner at eight o clock. Here is a family eating a meal in a village in Ethiopia.

  12. What is Harikas day like? The next few slides show some of the activities I do each day. The photographs are of other people in India doing similar activities.

  13. What time do you think it is? I get up, brush my teeth, have a bath and drink tea.

  24. 5:30pm 17:30 At half past five, I cook dinner and take care of my father and brother.

  25. What time do you think it is? I eat dinner with my brother and parents.

  26. 6:30pm 18:30 I eat dinner with my brother and parents at half past six.

  28. Afework leaves his home at 7.15am. He arrives at school at 7.30am. How long does it take him to walk to school?

  29. Afework goes outside to play with his friends at 4.00pm. He goes home to study at 6.30pm. How long does Afework play with his friends for?
