An 11-year-old girl presents with knee pain for 2 weeks, no trauma history. X-ray showed no abnormalities, but MRI indicated subcortical edema with enhancement at the metaphysis of the dorsal femur and in surrounding soft tissue. With no clear cause, further evaluation and management plan are needed. See the images for a better understanding of the findings.
