East Asian Forum for Adult Education Initiatives in Mainland China
East Asian Forum for Adult Education (EAFAE) was established in 1993 to address basic adult education in industrialized countries of East Asia. With a focus on learning and the world of work, initiatives are underway in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, emphasizing vocational and adult education, higher education, and vocational training for workers. Efforts by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Human Resources & Social Security aim to enhance vocational ability, manage human resources markets, and promote employment opportunities.
