  1. How to complete your stock show entries AHS FFA Updated Fall 2016

  2. What you need: One packet for each Major Stock Show you will be attending One AWC Form for every project you will be entering One AWC Rules page Something to write with Quality Counts and Social Security Numbers

  3. Order in which to complete Arlington Winter Classic Ft. Worth Austin There are other stock shows like San Antonio and Houston that you may attend yourself that Arlington FFA will not be attending. Be sure you complete all portions of the forms. We can not send them off if they are incomplete or missing any signatures.

  4. Arlington Winter Classic Jan. 7th This is not a required show, but is good show practice and give the student an opportunity to win a belt buckle For each project you will complete this form Example: I have 2 goats that I want to show, I will need to complete 2 forms First section is the students information, then comes animal info Be sure you circle which species you are wanting to show The bottom is for both student and parent to sign

Worth Stock Show & Rodeo Jr. Heifers- Jan. 19th-23rd 19- Arrive Wether Goats- Jan. 25th 29th 20- Check-in 21- Show22- Show23- Release 25- Arrive Rabbits- Feb. 1st 4th 26- Feed 27- Weigh-in 28- Show29- Show/ Release 1- Arrive 2- Feed 3- Show 4- Show/Release Student will be excused from school if in green text

  6. Ft. Worth Stock Show & Rodeo In this packet there are forms for goats, heifers, rabbits, and chickens Tear out the unneeded forms, you can keep the schedule You may only enter 1 goat/heifer per student at this show and your will receive one complimentary pass Cattle- it would be nice to have a tie out, but it is not required You may enter as many rabbits/chickens as you wish, but you must enter 4 per species to get one pass. Rabbits- Fur is only $1.00 and you have the opportunity to win more than that, but it is not a requirement. You may want to purchase a car pass, if not its $10 a day Durr has a clip board with your Quality Counts Number

  7. Rodeo Austin Jr. Heifers- March 11th 13th 11- Travel/Check- in Wether Goats- March 18th-19th 12- Show 13- Show/Release 18- Travel/Check- in 19- Show/ Release Rabbit do not show here Student will be not be missing any school for this show (Spring Break) This is a terminal show= if you enter take you goat here, you will not be bringing it back

  8. Rodeo Austin In this packet is a W-9, Regulations Page, and Entry Form that need to be signed. Heifer showers will be the only ones using the last page You may only enter 1 goat, but multiple heifers per student at this show You will receive one complimentary pass for exhibitor You may want to purchase a car pass. (Heifers mainly) Durr has a clip board with your Quality Counts Number

  9. Rodeo Austin Hotels Mr. Polster will be staying at The Crowne Plaza Mr. Durr will be staying at the La Quinta Austin North Hotels are booking fast

  10. Show Rules Be sure you visit both Ft. Worth s and Rodeo Austin s websites to view their Premium Books. These are the show rules that we are expected to adhere to.

  11. Payment Once you are done with your paperwork, the Ag Teachers will be at a table to take your entry fees You can pay with one check, AHS FFA, for all shows You will just sign different tab sheets Questions??
