Our sentences need to start with capital letters and full stops need to go at the end of an idea. Silver Rewrite the sentences adding in the missing punctuation. Gold Rewrite the paragraph adding in the missing full stops and capital letters. Remember to read the text a few times and think about where the full stop should go. Try to clap the full stop as you read until it sounds right. Is there a sentence before the clap and a new one after? Choose either silver or gold on the Day 3 sheet.

  8. Day 4 Golden Lines Hunt Read the forest description and jungle description. Both texts are setting descriptions. Identify any golden lines or vocabulary that are particularly effective and would work in your description. You can magpie these later. Check yesterday s silver or gold setting description and the next one (Day 3) for descriptions that can be used to find golden lines.
