Horus Horus ePortfolio ePortfolio Requirements Summary Requirements Summary Section: Requirement: Guidance / Timescale: ALS (Advanced Life Support) 1 -Before / start of FY1 ; Please upload in mandatory certificates PSA (Prescribing Safety Assessment) 1 -Before end of FY1; Please upload in mandatory certificates Teaching attendance 60 hours (at least 30 must be core) -By portfolio completion deadline (start of June) Educational Supervisor Induction Meetings 3 -1 in each placement Clinical Supervisor Induction Meetings 3 -1 per placement TAB (Team Assessment of Behaviour) 1 satisfactory TAB -Try to get this done in 1st or 2nd placement Clinical Supervisor end of placement meeting 3 -1 per placement Educational supervisor end of placement meeting 2 -1 per 1st & 2nd placement Educational supervisor end of year meeting 1 -1 in 3rd placement Audit / Quality Improvement 1 -Try to get this done in 1st or 2nd placement Mini-CEX and DOPS (Mini-Clinical Evaluation Exercise & Direct observation of procedural skill) 12 altogether (Minimum of 6 Mini-CEX) -2 Mini-CEX per placement + 2 DOPS per placement CBD (Case Based Discussions) 6 -2 per placement DCT (Developing the Clinical Teacher) 1 -Throughout the year Reflections 6 -2 per placement Curriculum Evidence mapped to all sections of Curriculum -Throughout the year (shouldn t be left to do at the end) Summary Narratives for HLOs 3 -Throughout the year Curriculum ratings by Educational Supervisor 1 All sections must be rated as satisfactory https://horus.hee. nhs.uk/sign-in Form R 1 To be completed in last week before deadline of portfolio completion (end of May/start of June)

Teaching Core Teaching Non-Core Teaching 1 hour of face-to-face teaching : CSB every Wednesday Departmental teaching OMS (Oxford Medical Simulation) - Up to 5 hours of OMS Grand Rounds PGVLE - Up to 5 hours of PGVLE Academic (AFP/SFP) Teaching Face to Face Simulation sessions at UHCW 3 hours per rotation E-Learning (ElfH linked to portfolio)

Junior Doctors Forums/ PGDF Junior Doctors Forums will take place after teaching on selected dates with FY1 Tutor and Claire. Here you will have the opportunity to address any concerns. These are often organised once per rotation for the same day as FY1 teaching to make it easier for those that work off site to attend.
