  1. PROMOTION OF INDIAN LANGUAGES,ART AND CULTURE Submitted by:Madan Kumar Singh Assam Rifles Middle School, Aizawl

India is land of huge diversity, having having numerous regional languages every state have thier own unique la- nguage,art and culture.When talking of diversity and thier colourfull tradit- on , culture one cannot forget about India, being the land of versatility an- d incredibility having different topog- raphical region with huge variety of fl- ora and fauna lies the different cultu- re and arts , which indeed makes India unique in its own.

  3. Language:-.India having 28 state and 9 Union Terri- tories making it a total of 38 entities(as per 2020). So making it a obvious reason of numerous langu- age as India is known for its diversity.The eight sche- file of constitution consist of 22 languages and more than 19,500 languages are spoken in India.People B. in India talk to each other in thier native language which shows thier culture and tradition through thier culture and tradition through thier languages.With promotion of language,it is not possible to promote art,in form of films,play , litrature,music,etc.

  4. Thus we see the regional language in social media is important for it to reach the interior most part of the country where english is not spoken, it would lead to development and and growth of internet and spread knowledge.

ART AND CULTURE:- When coming to culture. culture of India its can be defined as the fusion of different cultures and religions Over centuries,there has been a significant fusion of culture between Buddhist,Hindus, Muslims,Jain's,Sikhs and various tribal population in India. India is the best place B. of Hinduism, Buddhism,Janism,Sikhism and other religions.They are collectively known as Indian religions.

Indian art consist of a variety of art forms, including painting, sculptures pottery and textile arts such as wov- en silk ,on the way to learn, Indian art has culture influences,as well as reli- gion influence such as Hinduism,Bu- ddism , Jainism, Sikhism and Islam. Art and culture in India is strongest contribution to its rule heritage and

  7. and heritage and history and is intrinsi- B. cally woven into its identity.It contrib- utes to India,s GDP by generation both divert and indivert employment through handmade outfits and arts unique only to own country. Culture includes the elements that characterize a particular peoples' way of life.The arts vast subdivision of culture and decipline.

  8. Both culture and art are two wonderful ways of preserving or strengthening a strong community's sense of place, forging a personal identity, and showing your creativity. Art and culture boast multiple opportunities for learning, entertainment, leisure, personal growth, and improving communication with others. Art influences society by changing opinions, instilling values and translating experiences across space and time. Research has shown art affects the fundamental sense of self. Painting, sculpture, music, literature and the other arts are often considered to be the repository of a society's collective memory
