Keep your distance from others Catch it, bin it, kill it Stay safe First time, every time Your success will be determined by your own confidence and fortitude. Stay safe, seek success

  2. Developing Self-Confidence What is Self-Confidence? A feeling of trust in your own abilities, qualities and judgements It's not always easy to be confident in yourself, particularly if you're naturally self-critical, or if other people put you down. But there are steps that you can take to increase and maintain your self-confidence. Your success will be determined by your own confidence and fortitude. Stay safe, seek success

  3. For me, so far, confidence has been a journey, not a destination.

  4. Why building self-confidence is important Self-confidence is linked to almost every element involved in a happy and fulfilling life. More Resilience Confidence gives you the skills and coping methods to handle setbacks and failure. Self-confidence doesn t mean you won t sometimes fail. But you ll know you can handle challenges and not be crippled by them. Greater Motivation As your confidence grows, you ll find yourself more driven to stretch your abilities. What-if thoughts will still arise but Instead, you ll be able to grin and act anyway, feeling energized by your progress in pursuing goals that mean something to you.

  5. Less Fear and Anxiety The more confident you become, the more you ll be able to calm the voice inside you that says, I can t do it. You ll be able to unhook from your thoughts and take action in line with your values. Stronger Sense of Your Authentic Self Finally, confidence roots you in who you really are. You ll be able to accept your weaknesses, knowing they don t change your self-worth. You'll also be able to celebrate your strengths and use them more fully.

  6. Confidence and Behaviour Confident behaviour Behaviour associated with low confidence Doing what you believe to be right, even if others mock or criticize you for it. Governing your behaviour based on what other people will think. Being willing to take risks and to go the extra mile to achieve better things. Staying in your comfort zone, fearing failure, and avoiding risk. Admitting your mistakes, and learning from them. Working hard to cover up mistakes, and hoping that you can fix the problem before anyone notices. Accepting compliments. Thank you, I really appreciate that . Dismissing compliments. oh it wasn t much, I could of done better . Slouching. Having an open posture. Giving eye contact. Standing up right.

  7. Task On a A4 page, you re going to create an About me with the following titles to complete 5 Things I like about myself 5 Things others like about me 3 Achievements which I am proud of 2 experiences of when I have stuck up for myself or stuck by my values 5 things I appreciate about me life
