  6. Frequently Asked Questions What can I wear that s not listed for concert attire? It is imperative that you dress according to the guidelines provided. Please bring in any garment you have questions about for final approval. Where will the concert take place? Concert venues will always be provided to you at least one month prior to the scheduled event. You will receive reminders on my teacher s page, via email, and in our monthly newsletter. What happens if I don t attend the concert? There are three concerts that have mandatory attendance requirements. The fall concert, the winter concert, and the spring concert. These concerts are graded as major assignments. If any are missed, you will have to attend a concert of similar format and turn in a one page typed critique along with a copy of the program. The highest grade that can be earned is a 75 for the alternate assignment. The assignment must be turned in no later than three weeks after our concert. How can I request a change to the section or voice part I sing? Each time you participate in a concert, you will be asked what voice parts you d like to be considered for. Depending on the repertoire, among other things, I will determine what voice part you d be most suitable for. How do I audition for solos? Announcements for solo audition sign-ups will be given at the opening or closing of a rehearsal/ class specified by the chorus director.
