Devil's Advocate Debate Your teacher will represent the viewpoints of obnoxious authority.
Devil's Advocate Debate This is NOT the view of your teacher! This is an intellectual viewpoint that you need to attack in order to develop your skills of argument.
Rules You need to avoid vulgar statements, or statements that are massively inflammatory or even illegal we are still in a school!
Rules Not all authority has definitive truth. You need to use reason and logic, unemotional arguments. Your teacher will make points that a negative source of authority would make (such as sexist or classist or ageist points of negativity).
Example Chris Brown Domestically Ab using his partner, Rhianna Women who return to abusive partners deserve what they get. Chris Brown is known for his negative and abusive treatment of women. Those that be with him deserve such abuse. Some rap music talks about women in demeaning ways. Women should know what they are getting in to.
