Enhancing Child Welfare Services Through CANS-F Integration
Washington State's Children's Administration utilizes the CANS-F tool to support in-home child welfare services, focusing on child safety, permanency, and well-being. The CANS-F, implemented in 2013, targets areas related to child safety and aids in matching evidence-based practices to families with complex needs. Service planning, family preservation, and intervention strategies have evolved through the integration of CANS-F, fostering a more effective and personalized approach to in-home services.
