Season Wrap up Goal: build a wrestling family Goal: keep kids wrestling (highest numbers ever) Thank You s! Coaches (most coaches ever) Parents Michelle Wrestlers James Yang for the awesome videos!!!!
Successes -Most important growth and returning wrestlers. -Numbers are up! Kids are returning! -Two youth team tournaments: 1st place at both -Middle School District runner up -9th Grade team state tourney: Qual d 2nd year in a row -9th grade individual state tournament: 2 place winners -Youth state tournament: 20 qual d (9 last year) -5 high school qual d for state (record) (2 place winners) -First Girl to qualify for state and place 3rd! -Added Monday s for Rumble Tumble -Increase in involvement of parents helping coach -Largest Fundraisers in our history (2nd year in a row) -New mats at both locations, New youth singlets
Youth Team Numbers Middle School: 37 and 31
Future Wrestling Freestyle (Mar-Apr): Thunderbolts or Summit. Summer camps find a couple of buddies and go: Other private programs like MN Elite, Pinnacle, Summit, Victory, etc. (Note all 5 of our state qualifiers are in victory and summit) Augsburg Camps: www.augsburgwrestling.com Augsburg Technique camp (Ages 8-18): June 11-15th Augsburg Father/Son Camp: (Ages 5-12): June 16-18th Augsburg Team Camp: (Ages 13-18).
