Preaching in Damodara month yields better result.

When more people come in the yatra grows. Yatra gets active in preaching to newcomers. Newcomers are encouraged to contribute to the growth of the yatra in terms of service/ funds etc., Festivals in the yatra is done better with more and more resources. Yatra s book distribution takes off. Yatra s importance gets recognition in the ISKCON world.

Book distribution grows. Devotees attending the Dham's grow in number. Preaching grows in general. When devotees grow, the movement grows. Dhams will be supported more and more. Services in the Dhams are filled up faster. Services in the Dhams will increase and will help more people to settle there.

Of all plants, the sacred Tulasi is most dear to Me; of all the months Kartika is most dear; of all places of pilgrimage, My beloved Dwaraka is most dear; and of all days, Ekadasi is most dear. (Padma Purana, Uttara Khanda, 112.3) When one offers a ghee-lamp (to Lord Damodara) during the month of Karthik, his sins in many thousands and millions of births perish in half an eye blink. (Text 77, Kartika- Mahatmya, Hari-bhakti-vilasa)

(Cont d) O Narada, no sin exists anywhere in the three worlds that will not be purified by offering a ghee lamp to Lord Kesava during Kartika (Skanda Purana) One who offers a steady ghee lamp to Lord Hari during the month of Kartika enjoys pastimes in Lord Hari s splendid spiritual world (Padma Purana)

(Cont d) Anyone who recites or even hears this prayer (D modara h akam), especially in Kartika, will attract the eternal shelter of devotional service at the lotus feet of Sri Damodara. (Hari bhakti vilasa 16.1.198) The perfect atonement to purify the sins of a lifetime is to worship Lord Damodara in Vrindavan during Kartika. Kartika month spent in Vrindavan brings the supreme destination. (Mathura Mahatmyam).

Doing this in Kartika month brings maximum benefit for oneself and when this is done in a large scale the benefits are multi-fold (BG 18.68-69) Sri Damodara Programs Ki Jai
