Exodus 20:1-17 1 And God spoke all these words, saying: 2 "I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. 3 "You shall have no other gods before Me. 4 "You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; Evangel Christian Fellowship
Exodus 20:1-17 (cont.) 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, 6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. 7 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain. Exodus 20:1-17 (cont.) 8 "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. The life of Daniel When there is no absolutes, our inner life is hollow 1. Purity of heart Daniel 1:8 8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. The life of Daniel 2. Humility Daniel 2:30 30 "But as for me, this secret has not been revealed to me because I have more wisdom than anyone living, but for our sakes who make known the interpretation to the king, and that you may know the thoughts of your heart. Evangel Christian Fellowship

Trust in God Daniel 9:2 2 in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the LORD through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. 4. Absolutes Men are created in the image of God Because we are made in the image of God, our lives reflect God worship Our lives therefore, are holy and SACRED When we know our lives are sacred, then we will have the fear of God In our spirit, what we carry is holy The moment we take away the sacredness, corruption comes in Evangel Christian Fellowship
Absolutes Our ethnicity is holy before God - racism is a sin to God If it is sacred, God is involved. Violation is destruction God is looking for a good and faithful servant Goodness has to do with maturity Evangel Christian Fellowship
1. One God dont compromise 2. No idols idolatry is an insult to God 3. Don t take the name of God in vain the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is holy. Don t abuse His name. 4. Keep the Sabbath holy 5. Honor your father and mother 6. Thou shalt not murder sanctity of life 7. Thou shalt not commit adultery moral purity Evangel Christian Fellowship
8. Thou shalt not steal stealing has to do with the heart 9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against your neighbor thou shalt not lie 10. Thou shalt not covet comes through jealousy and envy. Find contentment in God Evangel Christian Fellowship
All the ten commandments have to do with the heart Truth is eternal, truth is timeless. When there is no truth, there is no absolutes Evangel Christian Fellowship
