  3. The key to building evangelistic momentum is disciple-making. Disciple-making in the context of abundant evangelism.

  16. Does the brokenness and lostness of your campus break your heart?

  17. The problem is not with the harvest. The harvest is plentiful. The problem is the lack of laborers.

It is good to tell people what we mean, but it is infinitely better to show them. People are looking for a demonstration, not an explanation. One living sermon is worth a hundred explanations. If all the students in your ministry modeled their lives after yours would you see a disciple- making movement? 4. What changes do you need to make to be more involved in personal evangelism and disciple-making? 5. How many true laborers do you have in your ministry? 6. How can you create a culture where becoming a laborer is celebrated?

  30. The college campus is a recruitment culture. This provides a natural opportunity to meet one- on-one with students to share Jesus with them.

  33. 4. SOW BROADLY WITH THEM

  34. Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ. Acts 5:42

  35. You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. Acts 20:20

How could you apply the Sow Broadly principle to your ministry? What questions do you have about how it plays out practically? 4. What are some creative ways that your ministry has or could sow broadly with the gospel? 5. What barriers do you think students have with the sowing broadly principle? How could you train them in this principle?

  44. The average student is looking for two things when they walk onto campus. 1. Friends 2. Fun.

  45. Its all about the contacts!

  48. Once we have interested contacts we give them a personal text that same day inviting them to our fun event that night.

  49. A note on texting. Dont give up on people too soon. Be personal and persistent. Personal is most powerful.
