PROJECT MEETING OF THE ERASMUS+ CBHE PROJECT SMARTEL University of Budva June 19 21, 2023 SMARTEL SMARTEL Project progress report INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COLLEGE MITROVICA (IBC-M) IMPROVING THE PROCESS OF EDUCATION THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF E-LEARNING MULTIMEDIA PLATFORM AND SMART CLASSROOMS PROJECT NUMBER: 618534-EPP-1-2020-1-XK-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP
WP#2 Activities 2.5 and 2.6 Defining changes in syllabuses and obtaining the decision by HEI AC Syllabuses for 12 selected courses (3 per study programme) have been processed to enhance a usage of E-teaching materials, E-teaching and assessment methods, SMART labs and new MOODLE platform which has been adopted within the institution. A variety of 120 teaching materials have been created and will be made accessible to students via new platform. WP#3 Activities 3.1- 3.3 Purchase, set-up, launch and the use of the project equipment At the end of January 2023, we acquired (received) a server and two (2) PTZ cameras. Since we had a big water flood during February that caused huge material damage, for a long time there was no condition for the installation of the purchased equipment (particularly the server). In order to purchase the rest of the equipment we launched two additional tenders, but both were unsuccessful due to various reasons (incomplete offers, enormously high prices offered, insufficient number of vendors, etc...). A new tender with an updated list of equipment (reduced to the essentials sufficient for system functionality), will be launched next week in the hope that we can acquire the rest of the equipment. One more thing regarding the server recently fitted&activated in our server room. The installation of Moodle and the Big Blue Button plugin has been completed successfully recently, and we are currently testing the system. The cameras we acquired will be installed later with the rest of the equipment.
