Kentucky Proud 8,361 Members, 1,700 Appalachia Proud 6,191 Producer/Grower/Breeder 86% of the people in metro Louisville recognize the brand. 69% 0f the entire state recognizes KY Proud In 2015, 3,227 Kentucky farms reported direct farm sales of food, including value-added products $65,430,475 Released from the U.S. Department of Agriculture s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) first-ever nationwide Local Food Marketing Practices Survey in December 2016.

Kentucky Beef Network Five field associates assisting producers in taking the next steps genetically, nutritionally, and marketing with best management practices on the farm Record of 150 farms over 40 counties participated in the UK Beef Integrated Reproductive Management (IRM) Master Cattleman, Master Grazer, Master Stocker, BQCA 0ver 6,000 cows being synchronized all over KY, AI to the very best bulls Dr. Les Anderson, Dr. Jeff Leimkuehler, Dr. Daryl Bulluck, Dr. Kenny Burdine, Dr. Steve Higgins Eden Shale demonstration farm
Kentucky Dairy Development Council KDDC was the first representation for dairy industry in KY Approx. 55% of funds over the past two program cycles have gone towards the MILK Program and matched by processors over $ 9 million KDDC field reps have visited over 300 farms annually of the 497 dairies signing them up for the MILK program, helping with nutrient management plans/ energy grants/ and whatever the farmer needs Marketing Matters publication/ website/ other social media keeps dairy farmers informed Dairy Valued-Added Conference Dairy Margin Coverage Insurance
