  1. Research Accounting Update Fall 2020

  2. Three items to note at the current time Processing of 800 Forms Cost Sharing on Contingent Grants Health Fees on Student Accounts reimbursed via Grant

  3. Processing of 800 Forms EmplA: Distribution Jan 1 June 30: GR5xxxxx 20% OP2xxxxx OP2zzzzz Edit Distribution for Jan March on July 15: GR5xxxxx 20% (no change) OP2xxxxx 40% OP2zzzzz 40% 20% 60%

  4. Details of GR GR5xxxxx was made inactive on June 30 HRMS does not allow for edit/save/process of this 800 Form. Expected relieve/fix - Late Spring 2021

  5. Cost Sharing on Contingent Grants Payroll w C/S is applied to a contingent GR (not attached to an Award Line). The Award eventually comes through and ORACS is unable to attach the GR to the Award IF the C/S FAO is in another Co. This is Workday design that we have asked WD to resolve for 5 years. It worked when we went live (soft error) then it didn t (hard error).

  6. Health Fees on Student Accounts Prior to URStudent, Health Fees were charged to Other Exp Health Ins (SC56800). Fees are now Student Aid (SC58700) and map to Student Aid (Ledger Acct). Two issues, one with reporting to Sponsor specifically on Training Grants, the second with F&A no recovery on Health Fees due to SC58700. Solution: in the works.
