3. You have 4 ways to register to vote. Ways to register: online by mail in person at your county voter registration office at PennDOT and some other government agencies. Where to register Students may choose to register at their campus address (on-campus or off-campus) their permanent or home address, Remember you can only register and vote at one location at a time!

4. The deadline to register to vote in an upcoming election is 15 days before that election To register to vote in Pennsylvania, you must: Be a citizen of the U.S. for at least one month before Who can register the next primary, special, municipal, or general election. Be a resident of Pennsylvania and the election district in which you want to register and vote for at least 30 days before the next primary, special, municipal, or general election. Be at least 18 years of age on or before the day of the next primary, special, municipal, or general election.

5. Students may vote in-person at their polling place. Polls are open from 7am-8pm on election days Remember, if you are in line by 8 p.m. you are allowed to vote! You must have an ID when it is your first time voting at How to vote a new polling location Students may vote by mail-in or absentee ballot. MAIL-IN BALLOT: Any qualified voter may apply for a mail-in ballot without a reason. ABSENTEE BALLOT: If you plan to be out of the municipality on election day or if you have a disability or illness, you can request this ballot type, which requires you to list a reason for your ballot.
