Outcomes for VCCS dual enrolled students, graduates and credentiallers are 1) Continued in enrollment in stackable programs in VCCS 2) Transfer to four-year universities 3) Employment Near-term focuses on the period between 6 months and 18 months after graduation or credentialling.

  20. SUMMARY VCCS serves the Commonwealth by educating many students who will go on to earn Bachelor s degrees and higher. But many in career technical fields transfer away from Virginia. Over 35,000 Class of 2020 graduates were employed within 18 months. But many were earning while learning, increasing time to graduation and cost of education.
