  2. Pay careful attention to this short video and collect as much information as you possibly can.   3. Can you work together to answer some of these key questions after watching the video? LESSON 1 Who is the person speaking in the video? What places are being spoken about? What happened to this person? When did this happen? How this person feel? What little bit of luck did this person come across? What was this person s motivation?

  4. Use the information cards (shown here) on your tables to learn more about the topic. Be ready (as a group) to share everything you have learnt with the other groups in the class. LESSON 1 Can you find any links/relationships between the three people in the profiles? What predictions can you make about the lives of the people in the profiles? Can you identify any vocabulary you are unfamiliar with? How can you find the meaning?

  5. Complete a one page profile on one of the band members. Include as much detail as you can about them. LESSON 1 Use the internet to research internet to research how the instrument looks and try to draw it. Note the interesting things you have learnt in bullet point bullet point form. Use the Vocabulary Vault Vocabulary Vault to note any unfamiliar words then use a class strategy to find the meaning of the word.
