Jesus and His followers At 30 years old, Jesus started making His presence known to the People of God. Started preaching the Good News of the Kingdom of God in the area called Galilee Many people came to listen to Him speak He told them things they had never heard before and they were fascinated Jesus showed His followers how to live by example His goal is to help them get to Heaven His
Miracles A miracle is something wonderful that is done by power of God Only God can perform miracles Jesus performed many miracles to prove He was the Savior This showed the goodness that will be ours in the Kingdom of Heaven His first miracle was the transformation of water into wine at the wedding at Cana. the How do you think the Apostles reacted when Jesus performed His first miracle?

Parables Parables are stories Jesus used parables to explain the Kingdom of God The mustard seed A mustard seed is tiny when it is planted in the ground. It grows to be a huge tree. The mustard seed is like the Kingdom because it had small beginnings but would cover the whole world. Farmer sowing seeds Some of the farmer s seeds fell on good ground and produced a rich harvest. Some fell on rocks and thorns and produced nothing. The seeds were like of good and bad men. How do the parables prepare our hearts for God s Word? the Word of God falling on ears
