  1. EMPOWERING THE ELDERLY The NGO Caribbean Development Foundation is holding a workshop for those old enough or young enough to prepare for their later years. The purpose of the workshop is to empower the elderly by informing them on how to plan and legally prepare for their elderly years. A senior Attorney will be facilitating the workshop. The workshop will be held on Saturday February 24th,2018 at the Hyatt Regency hotel between 11am and 4pm, and will be free to members of the public. The workshop will touch on legal issues such as wills, power of attorney, and deeds of gift. It will also look at the rights of individuals residing in homes for the aged, as well as the right to proper health care and medical attention.
