What What Do You Like To Wear? Do You Like To Wear? I like to look different from other people. It s important to me to look fashionable. I like baggy trousers and loose tops. I like to wear comfortable clothes. I like to wear branded clothes. I like to wear fitted clothes.
What Factors Influence Our Choice of Clothing? Age Cost Personal taste Peers and friends Lifestyle and occupation Suitability for the purpose or for an occasion Care and cleaning Colour, style and design Quality Comfort Fit and size Origin Fashion trends Culture Where they are made The clothes you already have
Lets Look at Design Features You should be aware of the following design features when designing and upcycling garments: Colour Pattern Texture Shape
Design Features: Colour When choosing clothing, most people choose colours that they like and that express their personality. Can you think of any examples of people who express their personality through their clothes?
