  1. Tuesday 2ndFebruary LO: To describe a character Adjectives are words that describe nouns (things). You can use them to describe a character.

  2. LO: To describe a character There was a huge, hairy spider in the bathroom. Adjectives can be used to describe appearance (what they look like).

  3. LO: To describe a character Olaf is a friendly, funny snowman. Adjectives can also be used to describe a character s personality (how they act).

  4. LO: To describe a character How could we describe the lion or the mouse from the story?

  5. LO: To describe a character Character description The lion is a fierce, ferocious beast. He is covered in thick, yellow fur and his head is surrounded by a huge, furry mane. He has long, sharp teeth and claws but he doesn t always use them. When the timid mouse awoke him from his nap, he at first felt very angry. However, he was kind towards the terrified mouse. Later, when the mouse rescued him, he felt very grateful.

  6. LO: To describe a character Can you describe the appearance and personality of the lion or the mouse? Can you use lots of adjectives to describe them? Can you group some of the adjectives in twos? (eg. huge, scary scared, little)
