Partnership for Promotion of Electrical Mobility in Higher Education Institutions
The University of East Sarajevo (UES) is spearheading a project funded by the European Commission to promote and popularize electrical mobility through modernizing study programs in Western Balkan higher education institutions. As the second largest institution in Republic of Srpska, UES offers a wide range of academic programs and is actively involved in various international cooperation agreements. With a focus on re-accreditation and modernization of facilities, UES is a key player in major projects like ERASMUS, IPA, and Horizon 2020, emphasizing research and innovation in the field of electrical engineering.

Program: ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-STRAND-2 Project number: 101082860 The University of East Sarajevo (UES) is an independent and self- governing public institution, consisting of the 15 faculties and the 2 academies, and it is the second largest higher education institution in Republic of Srpska (BiH). UES has been attended by approximately 10,000 students in 10 towns where 17 organizational units of the University are located, while the Rector s Office, as an administrative center, is located in East Sarajevo. UES has: 56 academic programs for bachelor degree, 47 academic programs for master degree, 8 PhD studies. Program: ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-STRAND-2 Project number: 101082860 The UES is the first accredited public higher education institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in 2018 it has entered in the process of re-accreditation. Considerable resources have been invested in the modernization of laboratories and IT equipment, especially in the 7 research centers at the UES. Program: ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE-STRAND-2 Project number: 101082860 The UES is a member of the European University Association EUA, Danube Rectors Conference, Alpe-Adria Rectors Conference, and the Rectors Conferences of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Srpska. In the field of international and inter-university cooperation, the UES has over 70 signed general cooperation agreements with higher education institutions in the country, region, Europe and the world, as well as over 150 special agreements defining the cooperation of organizational units with related universities, commercial enterprises, institutes and agencies.
