Stage 2 Proposal - $4.5m Up to the first 100m to be restored to similar heritage value eg section near the Fascine waterway Remainder using steel pylons and either timber or concrete decking to reduce maintenance costs Concrete is useful in heavy seas but not as relevant to this section look and feel is important Use of recovered material where possible Built strong enough for tramway Final length to be determined based on tender prices Needs to consider ongoing costs 2
Stage 3 Application $9 million application to the Commonwealth Building Better Regions Fund Continue extending the jetty Improvements to the heritage precinct, carpark Path of Pain site works Shire of Carnarvon is the applicant Round 5 application completed March 2021 Round 6 likely to open before the end of the year 3
