  1. How to Write a complete Sentence and restate the question

  2. What a sentence looks like! All sentences have a SUBJECT Person, Place, or Thing. (The teacher) All sentences have a PREDICATE What that person, place, or thing did. (went to school.) (The teacher went to school.)

  3. Restate the Question Answers should be expressed as complete sentences, but also give some sort of context for their existence. Any stranger, upon randomly picking up your work, should be able to understand the initial question by reading your answer. Let s look at an example.

  4. Crocodiles, Dingoes, and People. What does this mean? Why did you just list crocodiles, dingoes, and people?

  5. What was the question? What are three animals that never should be locked in a room together? What are the most dangerous animals on the Earth? What things scare you the most? What are your favorite things to eat? (The Actual Question)What are three major predators of Kangaroos?

  6. What Would a Stranger Think? How would I know those things have anything to do with kangaroos unless you told me. I could assume many things about that list.

  7. Restate the Question When you write answers you should always make sure to restate the question so that everyone who reads your answers knows exactly what you re talking about.

  8. Lets Practice BILL: How was your weekend? MANDY: My weekend was fine. Did you watch anything interesting on TV? BILL: Yes, I did watch something interesting on TV. It was the final episode of The Walking Dead. Did you see it? MANDY: No, I did not see the final episode of The Walking Dead. I prefer Gotham. BILL: Why do you prefer Gotham? MANDY: I prefer Gotham because

  9. Individual Practice On your own piece of paper you will answer the following question in a complete sentence and restate the question.

  11. Question 2 What's the best way to make a vampire baby stop crying?

  12. Question 3 What's the coolest toy on planet Zeist and why?

  13. Question 4 If Kelly could go back in time, where would she go and why?

  14. Question 5 What happened to Mike after he went into the haunted house?
