  1. TABERNACLE PRAYER ACCORDING TO THE GOSPEL OF JOHN PRAYER MODEL

  2. We have learned to first pray REVELATION: Praise God for revealing Himself as REQUEST: Ask the Lord to I. Revelation: Jesus is the Lamb of God. John 1:29 - Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. The Brazen Altar: The Cross Thank Him for each wound in His body and what it redeemed you from.

  3. The Bronze Altar is for the sinner. Jesus sustained five major wounds: 1. Bruising (Isaiah 52:14, 53:5,10; Matthew 26:67) 2. Laceration (Psalms129:1-3; Matthew 27:26) 3. Penetration (Zechariah 12:10; Matthew 27:29-30) 4. Perforation (Psalms 22:16; Matthew 27:35) 5. Incision/Bursting (Zechariah 12:10; John 19:33)

  4. A. He sweat drops of blood from his brow at Gethsemane (an olive press). He felt the weight of the world/sin pressing Him to death while He prayed. He endured great stress, anxiety and tribulation while He prayed. This wound caused by extreme mental pressure delivers us from cares, worries, anxieties and stress so that we may live in PEACE! Isaiah 53:5 - The chastisement of our peace was upon Him.

  5. B. He was beaten with a Roman scourge and his back was ripped apart disfiguring Jesus beyond recognition (I Peter 2:24; Isaiah 52:14; 53:5). He was wounded for our HEALING! Jesus wants me to be healed in every area of my life: body, soul, mind and spirit. C. His hands were pierced with a nail. Colossians 2:14 reveals that Jesus paid our certificate of debt by signing it in His own blood and nailing it up for all to see. The debt note, the promissory note, the arrest warrant are all marked CANCELLED and His wounds provide me with FORGIVENESS!

  6. D. His feet were pierced with a nail. Colossians 2:15 reveals that Jesus secured victory over sin through his death on the cross and defeated the devil. Victorious warriors would place their foot on the neck of their enemy and break it. Jesus provides me with VICTORY over all of my weaknesses, temptations, fears and puts them under His feet (Ephesians 1:22). E. His head was crowned with thorns. The thorn was a part of the curse in Genesis 3:18. Jesus crowned with thorns took our toil, pain, curse, suffering, poverty and provided for us BLESSINGS through His shed blood (Philippians 4:19).

  7. F. His side/heart was pierced with a spear. Jesus heart was broken so that we could have INNER HEALING from the wounds and heartbreak caused by our circumstances or experiences. Jesus blood releases us from bitterness, anger, inner turmoil and pain.

  8. REQUEST: Ask the Lord to Matthew 6:12 - Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. May I walk in peace in my soul and walk in peace with others as much as depends on me. May the peace of God rule in my heart (Colossians 3:15).

  9. May I walk in health in my spirit, soul and body. May I walk without condemnation knowing Jesus finished the work on Calvary and my sins is nailed to the cross. May I walk in victory over the enemy, and declare the enemy is under the feet of Jesus in my life. May I walk in provision knowing Jesus bore thorns, and I am blessed not cursed. Thank Him for the wounds in his side that bring healing to my peace of mind and emotions.

  10. REVELATION: Praise God for revealing Himself as Jesus is the laver of sanctification. John 3:5 - Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. John 4:14 - but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. Thank Jesus that we are cleansed by the washing of the water by the Word (Ephesians 5:26).

  11. Thank the Father for your sanctification. I Thessalonians 5:23 - Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank Jesus for your sanctification. Hebrews 13:12 - Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

  12. Thank you Holy Spirit for our sanctification. II Thessalonians 2:13 - But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth . Thanks for the sanctification that comes from the Word. John 17:17 - Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

  13. REQUEST: Ask the Lord to Help us walk in alignment: - Our Spirit lined up to the Spirit of God - Our Soul lined up to our Spirit - Our Body lined up to our Soul Because Jesus is the Great I AM and He is Vine (John 15:1) we are therefore fruitful in our character, integrity and reproduction of disciples.

  14. Spirit (Lets pray for the nine fruits of the Spirit - Galatians 5:22-23) 1. Love 2. Joy 3. Peace 4. Patience 5. Kindness 6. Goodness 7. Faithfulness 8. Gentleness 9. Self-Control

  15. Pray the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17) 1. No other gods before me 2. No idols 3. Don t misuse the name of the Lord. 4. Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. 5. Honor your father and mother. 6. You shall not murder (hate). 7. You shall not commit adultery. (You can commit adultery without sexual intercourse. Adultery is giving to another member of the opposite sex anything that belongs only to your spouse). 8. You shall not steal. (Keep integrity in your finances. Tithe. Do not personally rob God). 9. Do not give false testimony. (Is there any untruthfulness in my life)? 10. You shall not covet (that which belongs to another).

  16. Soul Give Him your mind. Give Him your will. Confess pride, greed, and lust. Body Give Him your body (hands, eyes, tongue). Father may I walk separated from evil and dedicated to God. Romans 12:1 - I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present our bodies a living sacrifice holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service (your act of spiritual worship). May I remember without holiness no man will see the Lord - Hebrews 12:14.

  17. REVELATION: Praise God for revealing Himself as II. The Bread of Presence, the Table of Shewbread. John 6:35 - I AM the Bread of Life. 12 loaves of fresh bread, 12 tribes of Israel. For we, though many are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread (I Corinthians 10:17). Thank Him for the Body of Christ.

  18. Shewbread: Bread of His Presence Thank Him for Holy Spirit. Pray we will walk in manifested presence for the supernatural. One loaf, many grains. Thank Him for the nourishment we need for life and godliness and being everything we needto walk in divine nature (II Peter 1:3-4).

  19. REQUEST: Ask the Lord to. Let s commit to being part of the Body: Commit to relationships/accountability. We won t reach our city alone. Pray about being Team. Jesus did everything by team: T-trust, together E-empowering, equipping A-accountable, aligned M-modeling, mentoring. May I walk in His manifested presence personally, privately, in my family, neighborhood and ministry.

  20. REVELATION: Praise God for revealing Himself as III. The Candlestick: The Holy Spirit John 8:12, 9:5 - I am the light of the world. The candlestick is identified as the sevenfold Spirit of God (Revelation 4:5). The Holy Spirit is like a burning fire filled with judgment against sin and with God s purity. Thank Him that we are connected to one body, that our lives are being hammered into pure gold so we can be a light in dark places.

  21. REQUEST: Ask the Lord to. May I walk in the spirit of the Lord, reflecting the light of Jesus. Isaiah 11:2 1. The spirit of the Lord (spirit of intimacy) 2. The spirit of wisdom (order, we don t live in chaos) 3. The spirit of understanding (clarity, divine vision) 4. The spirit of counsel (decisions) 5. The spirit of power (power for service; not weary in well-doing) 6. The spirit of knowledge (revelation knowledge; the ability to know how) 7. The spirit of the fear of the Lord (respect of His holiness; integrity in our morals, marriage, money, management of our time, mouth and modeling Jesus)

  22. May you, Holy Spirit, keep my life trimmed and ready, so my light never diminishes or goes out. May you, Holy Spirit, never extinguish the lampstand of my life, family or ministry, or the lampstand of our fellowship, the Assemblies of God. We are people of the Spirit. Pray in the Spirit.

And the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the saints, went upbefore God out of the angel s hand (Revelation 8:3-4). John 17 - The Great High Priest s Prayer. Thank Jesus. He is our great intercessor and through Him we have access to God.

  25. REQUEST: Ask the Lord to. Increase my boldness to pray in Jesus name. Increase the effectiveness and level of faith in my life so that the ministry of intercession will be more powerful. May I walk in fulfillment of Hebrews 13:15 - Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrificeof praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name. Increase my hunger and thirst for intimate worship and intercession.

May I, at the Mercy Seat, meet with you and hear Your instructions. Help me to hear what the Lord says. Hebrews 3:7,15; 4:7 - Today, if you will hear his voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.

  34. Ephesians 5:18 be continuously filled with the Holy Spirit.
