The Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Information System (MNIS) is a web-based platform used by the National Food and Nutrition Commission (NFNC) in Zambia to collect essential data for monitoring and decision-making in the nutrition sector. MNIS facilitates the gathering of functional information to support evidence-based planning and program evaluation. The system is designed to enhance the effectiveness of nutrition interventions by providing quality data at all levels. MNIS requires user authentication through specific usernames and passwords provided by administrators. It is implemented in various districts across Zambia, including Lusaka and Eastern Province. Access to MNIS allows stakeholders to contribute to improved nutrition programming through data-driven initiatives.
