Renewing your Nurse Aide Certificate March of EVEN years 2018, 2020, 2022 After passing the exam you will be certified to work as a C. N. A. until March 31, 2018 You should not need any work hours until after March 2018 but then you will need a paid position of 160 hours. You will need 12 hours of continuing education the first time then 24 hours for any future renewals. Current cost is $100-renew online Feb 2018 You may NOT work if your certification lapses.
