  1. Monday Morning Safety Minute Week 2 July 13, 2020

  2. We all have a role to play in preventing the spread of COVID-19. Take steps to protect yourself, your co-workers and others. Follow signage. Follow traffic flow signage, room capacity limits and floor markers. Practice physical distancing. Keep at least 2 metres between yourself and others

  4. We all have a role to play in preventing the spread of COVID-19. Take steps to protect yourself, your co-workers and others. Practice elevator etiquette. There is a limit to 2 people per elevator to maintain physical distancing. Where physical distancing cannot be maintained, the use of masks by everyone within the elevator is required. Wear a mask. If you can t keep 2 metres apart, wear a face mask.

  5. Masks are required when physical distancing cannot be maintained. This means they are required to be worn in the following spaces: - Washrooms - Elevators - Meeting rooms and offices (if 2 metres cannot be maintained)

  6. Mask Types: Mask Types: Non-medical Masks: For all employees, the use of a non-medical mask is required when physical distancing cannot be maintained. The Municipality will provide non-medical masks to all employees. Employees are strongly encouraged to consider using re-usable (homemade) masks as a sustainable option. Medical or N95 Masks: Medical or N95 masks are required for employees providing direct care to individuals who may be COVID-19 symptomatic. These masks, and additional PPE, are currently being used by Regional Emergency Services and Community Services staff.
