Mark 4:35-41 Jesus Calms the Storm 35That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, Let us go over to the other side. 36Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, Teacher, don t you care if we drown? 39He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, Quiet! Be still! Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40He said to his disciples, Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith? 41They were terrified and asked each other, Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!

The issue is not the storm. Some storms don t go away. Some storms last for years. The issue is how are you in the storm? That depends upon who is in your boat and who you are trusting. The real peace producing factor is that YES, Jesus does care!!!
Isaiah 26 3You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. 4Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal. 7The path of the righteous is level; you, the Upright One, make the way of the righteous smooth. 8Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts. 9My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you.
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. (kjv)
In the middle of the storm, HOW can I have PERFECT PEACE?
In the middle of the storm, HOW can I have PERFECT PEACE? PERFECT PEACE comes from PERFECT TRUST
It is very hard to have perfect trust in someone unless you know that someone very, very well. Perfect Trust requires really Knowing Jesus. How well do we know Jesus?

When do we start accumulating stories that shape our lives? Thus begins a couple s journey of 47 years of learning more about our Jesus and thus being able to trust Him more and more.
