Update on EVV Action Items Provide updated Authorization File Layouts Authorization file layout originally provided on 1/21 Biweekly technical Review calls started on 2/6 Claims Validation file layout provided on 2/7 Create document to outline parameters for the medical necessity determination date DRAFT document provided on 01/28/2020 Combine MCO training efforts with the AHCCCS/Sandata Training Plan AHCCCS is working to create a unified self authorization portal where all EVV authorizations will be entered. o o o o o Reaching across Arizona to provide comprehensive quality health care for those in need 2

Update on EVV Action Items Schedule meeting with MCO s to discuss the Communication Plan o Meeting scheduled: March 4, 2020 @ 12:00 PM MST Work with Sandata to identify a single source clearinghouse o AHCCCS is still coordinating with Sandata to understand if this we can accommodate this suggestion. ETA = TBD Work with Sandata to identify a hard start date for providers to initiate the use of the system. o AHCCCS is still coordinating with Sandata to understand if this we can accommodate this suggestion. Update on EVV Action Items Consider revisions to the FFS EVV portal so that it can be used by all MCO s o Discussed during MCO bi-weekly Technical Review sessions and will be moving forward on the centralized option; Additional information will be shared in ongoing MCO Technical communications and workgroups EVV scenario where member is dually covered. How will authorization work for members with the same MCO for both Medicare and Medicaid and different MCOs? Will be discussed during MCO Technical workgroup sessions EVV Coordination of Benefits scenario. Is EVV required for Medicare Services? What if the primary insurance does not require EVV Authorization? o Will be discussed during MCO Technical workgroup sessions o Reaching across Arizona to provide comprehensive quality health care for those in need 4
