United States Herbicide Resistance Action Committee Summary
Herbicide resistance is a critical issue being tackled by the United States Herbicide Resistance Action Committee (US HRAC). Formed in 2015, US HRAC operates independently from Global HRAC, focusing on specific areas while aligning on key herbicide resistance matters. The committee engages in various activities including responding to EPA guidelines, collaborating with WSSA, and planning strategies. Initiatives identified include regulatory impact, collaboration on resistance management, and education expansion. Expectations include alignment with Global HRAC members and improved communication.
