  1. Zeal without Knowledge (Romans 10:2) Paul s description of his countrymen Romans 10:1-4 Their zeal without knowledge was destructive Romans 11:7-10 (cf. Isaiah 29:10; Psalm 69:22-23)

  3. Haughty Knowledge without Zealous Faith (Romans 11:20) Paul s caution to the Gentiles Romans 11:13, 19-22 they must not be puffed up by their inclusion by faith but maintain humble faith.
