The French vowel "i" has two pronunciations, similar to the English sounds in "feet" and "yes." The first pronunciation involves spreading the lips and raising the tongue close to the front of the mouth, creating a high front vowel sound. The second pronunciation occurs when "i" is followed by another vowel in the same syllable, resembling the sound of "y" in English. Practice exercises and examples are provided to help improve pronunciation skills.
