  1. Present Perfect Continuous Our learning objective is: Use the present perfect continuous.

  2. How is it made? Regla gramatical HAVE BEEN + verb+ING I have been you have been he/she/it has been we have been you have been they have been working skiing sitting

  3. When is it used? Cu ndo lo usamos? - for an activity that has recently stopped or just stopped; there is a connection with now. Present perfect continuous o presente perfecto continuo es un tiempo que usamos particularmente para hablar de una acci n que comenz en el pasado pero continua en el presente. Se forma con el verbo have o has, dependiendo del sujeto de la oraci n, been (el pasado participio del verbo to be) y el verbo principal de la oraci n en gerundio (terminado con -ing). Examples : I am tired. I have been working in the garden. Why are you so dirty? What have you been doing? - for actions repeated over a period of time, when we want to say how long Examples: I ve been playing tennis for 10 years. He has been learning English since he was ten.

  4. Activity: Answer the following questions. Use the present continuous tense 1)How long have you been learning English?( cu nto tiempo has estado aprendiendo Ingl s?) Answer: I have been learning English for 30 years 2)How long have you been sitting here?( cu nto tiempo has estado sentada/do aqu ?) Answer: I have been sitting for 20 minutes 3)How long have you been drinking coke/tea? 4)How long have you been going to school? 5)Why are you tired? What have you been doing? 6)Why are your lips green? What have you been eating?
