Different Kinds of Pronoun The Pronouns are eight in number:- Kinds of Pronoun Definition with the uses of example A personal pronoun is a short word we use as a simple substitute for the proper name of a person. For example: I bought my cat a new toy, and he loves it. 1.Personal A demonstrative pronoun is a pronoun used to point to specific people or things. For example: This was my mother s ring. 2.Demonstrative An interrogative pronoun is a pronoun used to ask a question. For example:What do you want for dinner? 3.Inerrogative A relative pronoun is one which is used to refer to nouns mentioned previously, whether they are people, places, things, animals, or ideas. Relative pronouns can be used to join two sentences.For example:- The pants that I bought yesterday are already stained. 4. Relative
