  2. WHAT IS PANEL TYPE TELEVISION PROGRAM? Panel show have serious discussion, conducted in some stuffy auditorium. Panel shows are made up of British comedians and celebrities. Like a trivia game show, British panel shows tend to follow a quiz format, except, unlike a trivia game show, there are no prizes the contestants instead preferring to wander around the topic given, offering improvisational comedy,witty banter and nonsensical ramblings.

  3. WHAT IS PANEL TYPE TELEVISION PROGRAM? Panel shows are still a relevant and lively platform for comedians, celebs and social commentators. They are a great form of cheap-to-produce entertainment, with a long and distinguished history in Britain, and they are essentially what have kept radio alive. - give comedians a chance to showcase their improve skills - let celebrities expose another, more playful side to their personality Comedy panel shows are a huge part of popular culture. But, this has been lost along the way to make room for cheap gags and shock tactics.

NATURE OF PANEL TYPE TELEVISION PROGRAM Questions are based on general ignorance and contestants are awarded points for being interesting, rather than for offering obvious or boring answers to questions The panelists gave their answers to the question one by one, each listing mildly comical reasons for their choice, and then engaging in a quick debate. Panel shows offer a wider variety of content. The formats are wider-ranging because each panel show has a unique twist that helps draw in viewers every week It usually tackles some form of current events
